Blen is a KG student living with her aunt (Mame Getachew). Blen has lost her both parents and lives with her aunt in a small shanty house rented from the Kebele (local government body). Blen’s aunt get her living by washing clothes for neighboring households that could not even satisfy the domestic need let alone paying for Blen's school fee.

After WeSMCO has found her a sponsor named Solomon Hawaz, from USA she has been enrolled to school and some of her aunt's domestic expence covered.
